Downtown Dover will host a St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival on Saturday, March 16! The parade starts at 1:00. The Festival will be 11-3, and includes many local businesses and vendors.
Jam out at The Starboard, in Dewey Beach, celebrating their Opening Weekend for the season – which is always a fun time, lined up with great entertainment! On March 14, Amish Outlaws kick off the festivities. Saturday, Kristen & Johny take the stage and on Sunday, St. Patrick’s Day, The Starboard will host three performances: La Unica, Bryen O’Boyle of Mr. Greengenes, and Just the Tip Band.
Milford will host their 9th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl hosted by Downtown Milford on Saturday, March 16. This crawl is unique as it routes crawlers through downtown merchants who host local breweries, wineries, and distilleries in their shops. Merchants will be open and hosting crawlers 6-9pm. Dover Pipes and Drums will be strolling around town providing entertainment. Tickets can be purchased online.
Go to an Irish Music and Dance concert hosted by Irish Rose Gift Shop and Downtown Milford on Friday, March 15, 7-10pm at Jesus Love Temple In Milford! The show will feature Willie Lynch Band, McAleer School of Irish Dance, and Dover Pipes and Drums. Tickets can be purchased online.
Volunteer at the beach!!!! Plant some beach grass at Cape Henlopen State Park. The park is asking for volunteers on Saturday morning for the 30th Annual Beach Grass Planting on March 16, Saturday 9am-12pm. Not exactly St. Patrick’s Day themed, but still a fun way to spend your morning.
Check out local restaurants in the area over the weekend, many in Rehoboth, Lewes, and surrounding areas will have small scale entertainment and Irish food specials to celebrate all weekend!
